She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Paula completed the 2006 Boston Marathon and has run the BAA half marathon numerous times. |

Hobbies/Interests: Melanie has been practicing in outpatient sports and orthopedic physical therapy since graduating with her Master’s degree in December of 1999. Melanie treats a wide variety of orthopedic and sports injuries. Most of her post graduate course work and interests have focused on shoulder, knee and spine rehabilitation. Melanie likes to incorporate techniques such as graston / SASTM (http://www.grastontechnique.com/ ) and kinesiotaping (http://www.kinesiotaping.com/kinesio/method.html ) into her treatments to facilitate faster healing along with comprehensive exercise programs. Melanie is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Melanie splits her time between the Lexington and Acton offices. In her spare time, Melanie enjoys exercising, traveling and spending time with her husband, family and friends. |

Graduate: Northeastern University Credentials: BS, DPT, CSCS Hobbies/Interests: Mark graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Rehabilitation Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He sees patients in both the Lexington and Acton offices. Mark enjoys working with a variety of patients and has clinical concentration in musculoskeletal and spine injuries in the sports and orthopedic populations. His clinical experiences have included acute care, acute rehabilitation as well as a variety of outpatient physical therapy clinics. Mark also has experience as a lab instructor for the gross anatomy course at Northeastern University. In his free time Mark enjoys wedding planning with his fiancee. |

Hobbies/Interests: Colleen enjoys providing care and treating a variety of patients in our Sports and Physical Therapy, Acton location; including those with orthopedic and sport injuries. She also provides specialized care with the geriatric population in area nursing homes. Colleen works cooperatively with our Physical Therapists to determine the appropriate care for all their patients.
Colleen continues her education by attending seminars and conferences on the latest techniques and regulations. In her spare time, Colleen enjoys dancing, exercising, traveling and spending time with her friends and family. |

Hobbies/Interests: Cheryl recently graduated in May of 2010, and is now working as a PTA in our Acton outpatient physical therapy clinic here at SPTA. In Cheryls spare time she enjoys lifting weights with her husband and spending as much time as she can with her young grandson. Cheryl has had a lifelong interest in the study of nutrition, and is a member of The American Physical Therapy Association |

Hobbies/Interests: Diane has practiced with Sports and Physical Therapy Associates since October 2011. Since graduating in 2007, she has worked as a Licensed PTA for 2 different outpatient physical therapy and sports medicine clinics. One, in Provo, UT which specialized in sports injuries, especially shoulder related injuries. The second, in Pearisburg, VA which specialized in balance training and strengthening. Diane resides in Waltham, MA with her loving husband Michael, one year old daughter Sophie, and dog Kekoa. She enjoys rock climbing, hiking, board games, photography and spending time with her family and friends.
