Ian is a graduate of Northeastern University, with over 13 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy and sports medicine. He has been the manager of the Northeastern office for the past 10+ years growing a relationship with local physician groups, local collegiate varsity, and club sports teams.  His clinical interests are sports medicine injuries with a focus on the hip and shoulder.  He has enjoyed teaching and mentoring Northeastern physical therapy students on cooperative and clinical rotations. 


Out of work, Ian enjoys golf with his wife, Sue and son, Jake and is passionate about his Boston sports teams.


Chris Joyce 

Name: Chris Joyce

Chris has strong clinical interests in manual therapy, pain physiology, and neuromuscular control. His practice is patient centered, utilizing a holistic approach with emphasis on patient education and empowerment, coupled with movement assessment and strength training. He has clinical experience working with Division 1 collegiate athletes at Northeastern University, and with trauma and surgical patients at Spaulding Rehabilitation in Boston. Using gait analysis and training techniques he has rehabbed injured runners back to pain-free, higher performance running. In addition, Chris holds adjunct faculty positions at Northeastern University and Bay State Community College. He is an active pursuant of continued education and higher learning, and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.


Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, exercising, and reading

Steve’s clinical interests include treating all orthopedic and sports injuries, and movement dysfunction in active individuals using manual therapy and corrective exercise.  He has a special interest in the prevention and management of hip injuries and concussion.  In addition to completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern, he worked as an athletic trainer within the Department of Sports Performance for the Huskies from 2005-2013, primarily with the men's ice hockey team.  A Certified Athletic Trainer since 1999, he holds a Masters degree in Exercise Science/Biomechanics and a Bachelors degree in Sports Medicine.  He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

In his spare time, Steve enjoys mountain biking and outdoor activities with his wife Lynn, and kids, Samuel and Abigail.


Alexandra Laura 
Name:Alexandra Laura

Credentials: BS, DPT, SCS, CSCS, APTA Member, Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist, Certified First Responder

Ali has clinical experience in a variety of sports medicine and outpatient settings, including the Palm Beach Institute of Sports Medicine, Spaulding Rehab Hospital, and other private/hospital clinics. She is especially interested in post-operative rehabilitation/return to sports, injury prevention, and concussion rehabilitation. With colleagues, she has designed an evidence-based ACL prevention program at the Norwell clinic and hopes to continue to develop preventative programs for various sports and injuries.     


She grew up figure skating competitively and continued to skate through college, competing at the Senior level. She also tested through the gold and international levels for ice dance and has experience in synchronized skating. She has been coaching skating since she was 16, and also has instructed off-ice strength and conditioning for skaters.


Ali enjoys skiing, water sports, road races, and obstacle courses. She also plays volleyball and soccer. 

Alexandra Laura

Adam’s clinical interests lie around sports injures and orthopedic injuries in the active population.  Adam has been a Northeastern University full-time faculty member for the past 9 years working in the Department of Physical Therapy, Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences.  Adam is also the Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist for USA Lacrosse Men’s National Team and is the Head Athletic Trainer for the Boston Cannon’s Professional Outdoor Lacrosse Team. 


Adam enjoys traveling, and has been to South Africa the past 5 years taking a group of 30 students for one month and teaching two classes while over there.  Adam is a fan of all Boston sports teams and has completed 13 marathons.
