Scott Waugh was born and raised in Hingham Massachusetts and graduated from the University of Lowell in 1990 with a BS degree in Physical therapy and Athletic Training. Following his graduation he worked as a PT/ATC for the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL and then with the Football and Ice Hockey programs at Boston college. During his time at Boston College he also worked for POST Physical Therapy until partnering with Carl and SPTA in 1997. In addition to being a co-owner of SPTA he is also the present Rehabilitation Coordinator for the Boston Bruins, a position he has held for the past 14 yrs and for the past 6 years has held the same position with the Boston Red Sox. In 2006 Mass General Hospital named Scott their Clinical Director of Sports Therapy for the Division of Sports Medicine, a position he still holds.
Scott and his wife Kim live in Hanover and have three children Caitlin, Andrew and Matthew.

Amanda’s clinical interests include treatment of post-operative shoulder and knee patients. She work’s with many patients referred by some of the best orthopedic surgeons in the greater Boston area.

Julia graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University, where she gained experience working at a wide range of settings, including the Beth Isreal Deaconess Medical Center, Partners HealthCare and the Cambridge Health Alliance.
Julia's interests include orthopedic/sports injuries as well as working with a wide variety of ages. She brings her passion for sports into her clinical care as well as her fun and unique character.
Name: Patrick Edgecomb Graduate: Quinnipiac University Credentials: BS, DPT
Hobbies/Interests:
Patrick grew up in southeastern Connecticut and moved to Boston after graduating from the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Quinnipiac University. He co-authored the study “Single-limb Decline Squat: Implications For ACL Injury Prevention” that is scheduled to appear in the Journal of Sport Rehabilitation and will be presented at the American College of Sports Medicine’s annual conference.
Patrick played soccer in college and continues to compete in all sports. He likes treating patients of all ages for problems that affect their day-to-day activities and athletic performance.
