Bruins Championship Ring

Type:  Coverage

Tuesday October 4th, 2011 The Boston Bruins unvieled their 2011 Championship ring!

Scott Waugh has been busy this summer; escorting Lord Stanley's Cup to Children's Hospital and to our Norwell Clinic, keeping our Red Sox and Bruins healthy while still finding time for patients here at SPTA!  Now Scott, who is the co-owner of Sports & Physical Therapy Associates and also the Director of Rehabilitation for The Boston Bruins, has become the proud new owner of a ring,

a 2011 Boston Bruins Championship Ring!

Pictured above are Scotts Championship rings from both the Red Sox 2007 World Championship, and the 2011 Bruins Stanley Cup Championship.  Scott is THE ONLY trainer/therapist to have both of these historical rings!  He shares this rare honor with Dr Gill and Dr Asnis, both of Mass General Hospital.

302 diamonds make up this gorgeous Jostens ring which, if you were hoping to get a keepsake of your own is now available on the Bruins Website . Jill Radsken of the Boston Herald was there last night reporting on the event that took place at the Boston Harbor Hotel and wrote that even Tim Thomas thought the ring was heavy!

To see more pictures from the event, see Boston.com's coverage.

All of us at Sports and PT Associates would like to again congratulate Scott and all of the Boston Bruins Organization on this exciting Championship!
