Hobbies/Interests:

 

Mark Baldwin, PT, CSCS graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1997. Mark currently manages our Framingham and Woburn clinics.
 
Mark enjoys working with a variety of patient age populations but specializes in pediatric and young adult sports medicine. Mark’s special interests include treatment of athletic hip injuries, running injuries, working with performing artists, managing injuries in the overhead athlete, and patello-femoral knee pain in young athletes. He incorporates a broad range of treatment approaches when managing his patients including biomechanical  and  kinetic chain evaluation techniques and exercise prescriptions, manual therapy interventions and sport specific programming.
 
Mark has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2000 and is active in the community working with high school teams and individual athletes teaching injury prevention and performance enhancement programs. He has also lectured to strength and conditioning professionals on how to manage, train and optimize program design in clients with shoulder, low back and hip injuries.

Name: Ashley Benson

Hobbies/Interests:

 

Ashley graduated with honors from Boston University with a B.S. in Health Studies and then again with an M.S. in Physical Therapy. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and joined SPTA in 2007.
 
Ashley’s clinical interests include advanced management of all foot and ankle pathologies, post-surgical lower extremity rehabilitation, upper extremity sports injuries, manual therapy of the spine and adolescent sports medicine.

Ashley is originally from Boulder, Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, running, hiking, and downhill skiing.

Hobbies/Interests:
 
Katie has worked at SPTA in Framingham since January 07. After graduating as a Physical Therapist Assistant in May 2010 she has transitioned from Clinical Aide to PTA. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and fitness levels with various sport injuries in the orthopedic outpatient setting. She especially enjoys working with children/adolescents with severe developmental disabilities, helping them to discover and achieve their maximum potential. She also volunteers for BAA Boston Marathon as part of the elite athlete staff.

In her spare time Katie enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, working as a dog-sitter, and outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, and road trips.

Hobbies/Interests:

Denis graduated from Springfield College with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012. He gained a strong interest in treating athletes of all ages after his clinical affiliation at Dartmouth-Hitcock Medical Center's Sports Medicine Department. Denis enjoys treating patients with conditions that affect their daily activities and athletic performance.

Denis was born in Queens, NY and grew up in Westchester County, NY. He enjoys playing all sports especially basketball, football, hiking, biking, and kayaking.
