Graduate: Boston University
Credentials: BS Health Science, MSPT, member of the American Physical Therapy Association



Ashley graduated with honors from Boston University with a B.S. in Health Studies and then again with an M.S. in Physical Therapy. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and joined SPTA in 2007.
Ashley’s clinical interests include advanced management of all foot and ankle pathologies, post-surgical lower extremity rehabilitation, upper extremity sports injuries, manual therapy of the spine and adolescent sports medicine.

Ashley is originally from Boulder, Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, running, hiking, and downhill skiing.

Name: Katie Griffin

Credentials: BS in Exercise and Sports Science, PTA
Katie has worked at SPTA in Framingham since January 07. After graduating as a Physical Therapist Assistant in May 2010 she has transitioned from Clinical Aide to PTA. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and fitness levels with various sport injuries in the orthopedic outpatient setting. She especially enjoys working with children/adolescents with severe developmental disabilities, helping them to discover and achieve their maximum potential. She also volunteers for BAA Boston Marathon as part of the elite athlete staff.

In her spare time Katie enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, working as a dog-sitter, and outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, and road trips.

Name: Maryellen O'Leary
Graduate: Regis College, Bay State College
Credentials: BFA, PTA
Maryellen enjoys all aspects of sports rehabilitation. She takes pride in helping young and not so young athletes gain back the necessary strength and endurance allowing them to return to their sport of choice. 
At SPTA she shares her love of physical activity. She is an avid cyclist who for the last ten years has volunteered or rode in the Pan Mass Challenge bike-a-thon which raises funds for Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She also trains and participates in triathlons.





Name: Michael Caeran
Graduate: UMass Lowell
Credentials: BA, DPT, CSCS


Michael has an interest in various orthopedic surgeries and takes a keen interest in sports related injuries. He has been a long time runner and competed in cross-country as well as track for UMass Lowell.


Michael likes to participate in all types of sports and frequently enjoys running and resistance training.



Name: Abby Estabrook
Graduate: Tufts University, University of Connecticut
Credentials: BA, DPT 

Abby graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut in 2014, and began working at SPTA in October 2014. She originally graduated from Tufts University in 2006 and then spent the next few years working before going back to school to get her DPT.


Abby enjoys working with patients with a wide range of injuries and diagnoses to help them return to their regular activities. She has participated in ACL injury prevention research and hopes to build on this experience in the clinic.


In her spare time, Abby enjoys ice skating, working backstage at a local theater, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on Boston sports teams.
