Golf Therapy Program: The golf swing, if performed improperly, can cause many injuries in all joints of the body. These injuries can lead to pain during and after golf and eventually an inability to play. The Golf Therapy Program is for patients who are injured due to playing golf or who are injured and want to return to golf. Ian Manning M.S.P.T. is a certified Medical Professional through the Titleist Performance Institute. Ian will evaluate the body for injury causing restrictions and weaknesses. Using this information he will develop a treatment program that is specific to the patient and their findings. The goal of the program is to fix the restrictions and weaknesses to get the patient back to playing golf pain free. If you have any questions or would like to set up an appointment please call 617-699-2328 or email Ian Manning at imanning@sportsandpt.com. Golf Fitness Program: Whether you are a high handicap player who is looking to lower your score and develop a more consistent swing or a scratch golfer who is looking for 10 more yards off the tee the Golf Fitness Program is for you. The golf swing is a dynamic motion that requires a lot of flexibility and strength throughout the whole body. Any restriction in flexibility or weakness in the body can lead to a loss of distance and power. It can also lead to a swing that is off plane that will cause inconsistent ball striking and a hook or slice. Ian Manning M.S.P.T. is a certified Fitness Professional through the Titleist Performance Institute. He will put you through a full body screen that highlights the areas of weakness and flexibility which are causing your faulty swing. Ian will then develop an exercise program that is specific to you and the findings in your screen. The fitness program is designed to improve your strength and flexibility to get your swing on a better path. This will give you a more consistent swing which will increase distance, improve ball striking and lower your score.
