Credentials: BS Exercise Science, MSPT, CSCS Hobbies/Interests: Melanie has been practicing in outpatient sports and orthopedic physical therapy since graduating with her Master’s degree in December of 1999. Melanie treats a wide variety of orthopedic and sports injuries. Most of her post graduate course work and interests have focused on shoulder, knee and spine rehabilitation. Melanie likes to incorporate techniques such as graston / SASTM (http://www.grastontechnique.com/ ) and kinesiotaping (http://www.kinesiotaping.com/kinesio/method.html ) into her treatments to facilitate faster healing along with comprehensive exercise programs. Melanie is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Melanie splits her time between the Lexington and Acton offices.??In her spare time, Melanie enjoys exercising, traveling and spending time with her husband, family and friends. |

Credentials: BS, DPT, CSCS Hobbies/Interests: Mark graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Rehabilitation Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He sees patients in both the Lexington and Acton offices. Mark enjoys working with a variety of patients and has clinical concentration in musculoskeletal and spine injuries in the sports and orthopedic populations. His clinical experiences have included acute care, acute rehabilitation as well as a variety of outpatient physical therapy clinics. Mark also has experience as a lab instructor for the gross anatomy course at Northeastern University. In his free time Mark enjoys spending time with his wife. |

Credentials: BA in Criminal Justice, Associates in PTA Hobbies/Interests: Christine graduated as a Physical Therapist Assistant in May 2010 and recently joined the SPTA team in Lexington. She enjoys working in the orthopedic outpatient setting with patients of all ages and diagnosis. In addition, she has worked as a fitness instructor and personal trainer for 14 years. She loves teaching a variety of classes including her own summer “bootcamp” class which challenges participants at every fitness level. Running is her passion and she has successfully completed six marathons and many other races. When she’s not hitting the pavement, Christine enjoys reading and watching her kids play sports. |

Credentials: BS athletic training, LATC Hobbies/Interests: Kate graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Athletic Training in 2005. During her time at NU, Kate worked with various sports teams at Harvard and Northeastern University. She joined our Lexington team after graduation, and continued on to earn her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Kate specializes in medically-based strength and conditioning programs for clients of all ages and fitness levels. She designs and implements programs that help reduce the onset of ACL injuries by teaching athletes the proper form of exercises, improving their jumping and landing skills and helps them return to their sport with confidence. Kate also develops programs that involve returning to a sport from an injury, preparing for a specific sport season and overall strengthening and stretching education. Kate's interests include working out, kayaking, hiking and spending time with family, friends and her Golden Retriever Rookie. |

Julie also worked as a program instructor running children’s programs such as swimming lessons and youth sports/conditioning camps at a health club for several years prior to becoming a PTA. In her spare time she enjoys working out and spending time with her friends and family. |
