Graduate: Northeastern University (DPT), Springfield College (BS)
Amy graduated from Springfield College in 2006 with her Bachelor of Science in Sports Biology. After graduation she moved to Boston and began working at Boston Medical Center (BMC) in their outpatient physical therapy department. At BMC Amy worked with individuals with spinal cord injuries and discovered her passion for helping others by improving their quality of life through physical therapy. In 2008 she was accepted to Northeastern University for their Post- Baccalaureate Doctorate of Physical Therapy program and graduated in 2012.
Amy's clinical experience includes musculosckeletal, orthopedic and sports related injuries. She continues life-long learning by attending regional and national conferences related to sports medicine. Amy began running marathons years ago throughout the East Coast, which gives her first hand knowledge and experience in running-related injuries. She enjoys treating a variety of patients, but her treatment approach specializes in manual therapy, evidence based treatments, and posture education as well as clinical interest in biomechanical analysis. Amy also strives to develop an individualized rehabilitation program for each patient to ensure they reach their personal goals in therapy.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys cooking, traveling, running and going to Maine to see family and friends, especially her nephews!
